
P-Bruins Fall to Moose 4-0

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins fell to the Manitoba Moose 4-0 Sunday afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The first place P-Bruins are back at home at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Friday versus the Manchester Monarchs at 7:05 p.m. for Winter Hat Night.
The Moose took a 1-0 lead at the 5:00 mark of the opening period, while on the power play. Shaun Heshka tallied his third goal of the season, with Nolan Baumgartner recording the lone assist. Manitoba went into the first intermission leading 1-0.
Manitoba went ahead 2-0 at the 17:41 mark of the second period, while on the power play. Maxime Fortunus netted his seventh goal of the season, with Jason Krog and Dylan Yeo grabbing the assists. The Moose took a 2-0 lead into the second intermission.
In the third period, the Moose took a 3-0 lead at the 6:34 mark. Guillaume Desbiens scored his 15th goal of the season, while Krog picked up the lone assist. Manitoba finished off the scoring at the 16:15 mark. Krog tallied his 19th goal of the season, while Desbiens and Jason Jaffray had the assists. Manitoba went on to the 4-0 victory.
Tuukka Rask stopped 18 of 22 shots for the P-Bruins, while Cory Schneider made 23 saves for the Moose. The P-Bruins were 5-for-5 on the power play and 3-for-5 on the penalty kill.
The P-Bruins are back in action at The Dunk Friday for Winter Hat Night at 7:05 p.m. versus the Monarchs courtesy of Elite Auto Repair and Amica Insurance.
