The Otters (9-29-0-2) enter weekend action in the midst of a four-game losing streak, including a 7-5 loss to Sarnia on Saturday. Justin Hodgman continued his strong play with a pair of assists in the game against the Sting. The second-year forward has collected five goals and 10 assists for 15 points in his last 10 games and now ranks second in team scoring with 13 goals and 23 assists for 36 points in 40 games.

Thursday's match up with the Sting will mark the Otters debut of rookie defenseman Frank Grzeszczak and veteran goaltender Kevin Beech, acquired in separate deals Tuesday from the Plymouth Whalers and Sudbury Wolves, respectively.

Sarnia enters action Thursday with a record of 24-11-2-3 good for second place in the West Division. The Sting, winners of three straight (all on the road), lead the West Division in goals scored with 168. Steven Stamkos, the first overall pick in the 2006 OHL Priority Selection, leads the Sting in scoring with 30 goals and 31 assists for 61 points in only 40 games.

Thursday's game will be the third of a four-game season series between the two teams. The Otters look to rebound as the Sting has captured the first two meetings this season.

The Otters will travel to London to face the Knights Friday. The Knights lead the Western Conference with a 26-10-1-3 record and sport two of the top-four scorers in the OHL in Sam Gagner and Patrick Kane (both with 67 points).

The Storm traded leading scorer Tyler Doig to the Belleville Bulls on Tuesday leaving Jamie Arniel as the club's leading scorer. The second-year forward has 23 goals and 17 assists for 40 points in 41 games.
