Attack and Battalion Complete a Trade

Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Owen Sound Attack and Brampton Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League have completed a deal.

The Owen Sound Attack sends overage defenseman Dalyn Flatt, rookie centre Thomas Stajan, 3rd round selection in 2008, 4th round selection in 2009, 5th round selection in 2009, 3rd round selection in 2010, 1st round import selection in 2008, and 1st round import selection in 2009 to the Battalion.

In return the Battalion sends overage forward Howie Martin and defenseman and Toronto Maple Leaf draft pick Phil Oreskovic to the Owen Sound Attack.

Phil Oreskovic is in his fourth season with the Battalion. He currently has 2 goals and 12 assists for 14 points in 36 games played with 113 penalty minutes. Last season he led the Battalion with a club record 202 penalty minutes.

Both Martin and Oreskovic are expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Attack hosts the Belleville Bulls at 7pm for Cram the Den Night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.

The Owen Sound Attack would like to wish both Dalyn Flatt and Thomas Stajan the best of luck in the future endeavours.
