Otters Sign Another Outfielder

Evansville Otters News Release
Evansville, IN - The Evansville Otters have signed former Los Angeles Dodgers prospect Tycen Povey to a contract. Povey was a three-time All-American at the NAIA and Junior College levels, putting up a .423 batting average his senior year at Bethany College, adding five homeruns and 20 doubles. The 6-3, 220 pound outfield was signed by the Dodgers and played in just 18 games at their rookie affiliates, batting .205 with three extra-base hits and an RBI.
