
Otters Resign Former Aces Hurler

Evansville, IN - The Evansville Otters have reinstated former University of Evansville pitcher Mark Murray from the retired list and signed him for the 2008 season. Murray was a member of the Otters last season when he compiled a record of 3-4 with a 3.34 ERA in 18 appearances, including six starts. Mark is excited about returning to the Otters in 2008. "It's always nice to be able to play in front of family and friends, and to be given the opportunity to continue my baseball career in my hometown of Evansville...I couldn't be more pleased." Murray played his high school ball at Memorial before pitching for the Purple Aces, compiling a career record of 11-11 with 17 saves.
