EVANSVILLE, IN - Sunday's doubleheader between the Gateway Grizzlies and Evansville Otters was cancelled due to rain. The games will not be made up and the 2009 season is over for both teams.
The Otters finish the season 28-66, ending the season on a 13 game losing streak and setting a franchise record for losses in a season. Gateway finishes 40-54.
Frank Meade led the 2009 club in home runs with 16 and RBIs with 58. Cameron Satterwhite led all players with at least 100 at-bats with a .315 average.
Dustin Renfrow led the teams in wins with a 5-9 record. Reliever Ben Paxton finished with a team-best 1.12 ERA.
