ERIE, PA. - The Hamilton Bulldogs (14-19-3-0) lost a close 2-1 decision to the Erie Otters (31-4-1-0) Saturday night at the Erie Insurance Arena.

The Bulldogs opened the scoring as Adam Laishram buried a Stephen Harper pass at 7:57 of the first period. The goal was his 7th of the season and his 3rd in the last two games for Hamilton.

Erie pulled even when Mitchell Byrne took a shot from the point that bounced out in front to a wide open Nick Betz who scored his 11th of the season at 16:58. Patrick Fellows picked up the second assist on the play.

The game winner came at 8:33 of the third period when Darren Raddysh scored his 4th of the season. The assists were given to Kyle Pettit and Jordan Sambrook.

The Bulldogs return home tomorrow afternoon when they welcome the Erie Otters to the FirstOntario Centre for the first time this season. Faceoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
