Erie Otters News Release

The Erie Otters jumped to first place in the standings after downing the London Knights 4-2. With two goals for the Otters Taylor Raddysh picked up his 100th career regular season point. Alex DeBrincat's two assists put him over the century mark for the second season in a row.

Taylor Raddysh started the scoring for the Otters after he tipped a shot by Dylan Strome past Tyler Parsons to take the lead.

Early in the second stanza Max Jones snuck a puck by Devin Williams to knot the game at one. Eight minutes into the middle period Taylor Raddysh ripped a shot past Parsons following a sick feed from DeBrincat. Later in the period Erie went on the power play. Jordan Sambrook moved the puck along to Vanya Lodnia who launched a rocket into the London net to put the Otters up two goals.

At the midway point of the third period Aaron Berisha made it a one-goal game with a power play tally. The Otters desperately held onto the lead and sealed the deal when Nick Betz collected the empty net goal to secure the 4-2.

The Otters playoff series with the Saginaw Spirit will start on Friday when they host the Saginaw Spirit at 7:00 p.m.
