(Pawtucket, RI) - The Pawtucket Red Sox used seven shutout innings from starter Sean O'Sullivan, four RBI from Henry Ramos and spectacular defense to secure a 7-3 victory over the Scranton RailRiders in front of a season-high 10,247 fans at McCoy Stadium on Saturday evening.

"Having this energy in the ballpark definitely helped our guys out today," said manager Kevin Boles. "It's great for our development."

O'Sullivan (6-2) struck out six and allowed only four baserunners (three singles and a double) to earn his fourth win in five June starts. He did not walk a batter in either of his two starts this homestand.

"It was really just about getting ahead in the count," said O'Sullivan. "I tried to use all my pitches and luckily I was able to throw everything for strikes and fortunately they hit some balls hard right at out defense."

O'Sullivan began his night with two perfect innings and finished it with three perfect frames. He has tossed at least seven innings in all five of his home starts and for the sixth time in his last eight Triple-A starts.

"He did a terrific job and we needed that," said manager Kevin Boles. "He set the tone and did a real good job keeping the defense involved."

Scranton came closest to scoring a run against O'Sullivan in the fourth inning. With Aaron Judge on first base, Donovan Solano lined a ball to the wall in left field. Brock Holt picked the ball up, fired a strike to shortstop Mike Miller, who delivered a one-hop relay throw to the catcher Ryan Hanigan that nailed Judge at the plate.

Ramos' big day began in the fourth inning against RailRiders starter Phil Coke (3-2).

After an error and a single placed runners on first and second with one out, Ramos grounded an RBI single into right field.

Following Chris Marrero's one-out single in the sixth inning, Ramos stepped to plate against reliever Johnny Barbato. Ramos, batting lefthanded, drilled a mammoth blast over the right field fence for his second home run (2) of the homestand, extending Pawtucket's lead to 4-0.

"From that left side, he's got some impact to right field," said Boles. "We've seen him manage his at-bats, he can drive the ball; he does a lot of things well."

In his final at-bat with two outs in the seventh, Ramos lined an RBI single to center for a 5-0 advantage.

The four RBI were his most in a game since he had four with High-A Salem in 2013 and were tied for the second most in a single game for a PawSox player this season. Sam Travis recorded five RBI on May 15.

"I feel great," said Ramos. "I'm just trying to control what I control."

Meanwhile, Brock Holt was a big contributor, as all facets of his game were tested in the fifth game of his rehabilitation assignment.

Holt played all nine innings in left field, which included his fourth-inning outfield assist.

"I feel better," said Holt. "It's just been about getting out there and getting more at-bats."

He went 2-for-3 with two walks and two RBI at the plate and ran the bases very aggressively.

"Brock played well and got tested in a lot of different ways," said Boles. "He had some pretty good at-bats and you can tell it's a professional AB when he goes up there."

Rusney Castillo stole second base with two outs and Holt at the plate in the third inning. Holt flared a ball into left field that scored Castillo with the first run of the game. On the play, Holt was caught in a rundown and tagged out between first and second.

Following a double from Castillo in the eighth inning, Holt lined a single to center in his final at-bat, scoring Castillo and pushing the lead to 6-0.

Ryan Hanigan played at catcher for seven innings in the third game of his rehabilitation assignment and went 0-for-4.

Scranton (44-32) tallied its three runs in the ninth inning against Roman Mendez.

Aaron Judge lined a two-run homer, his league-leading 15th of the season, over the left field fence.

Two batters later, Donovan Solano homered (4) in his second straight game, lifting a ball into the Pawtucket bullpen.

The PawSox conclude their homestand with tomorrow afternoon's rubber match against the RailRiders at 1:05 p.m Pawtucket lefthander Henry Owens (5-3, 3.24) is scheduled to take the mound against Scranton righty Luis Cessa (2-1, 3.63).
