INDIANAPOLIS - Steven Brault returned to the mound in Indianapolis, but Buffalo locked in the second win of the series in front of a sell-out crowd Saturday night at Victory Field.

Brault (1-3) joined the Indians' roster prior to today's game, making his first start for the Tribe since May 8 due to a left hamstring injury.

After two scoreless frames, an error extended the third inning for Buffalo (42-34) before a drive by Jesus Montero took a wild bounce and allowed two runs to score for the visitors.

Brault escaped the inning with a strikeout and exited the game after just 3.1 innings pitched, surrendering two earned runs. John Kuchno answered the call to action in the Indians bullpen, matching Brault's three strikeouts.

The misfortune continued for the Tribe as the fourth inning unfolded. A controversial home run from Buffalo's Adam Burns down the third base line brought the Bisons' lead to 4-0.

Indianapolis (40-35) would not be able to answer throughout the night. Only six hits were recorded as Buffalo's Roberto Hernandez (4-3) held the Indians scoreless through six innings. Hernandez's work was completed by Dustin Antolin.

While the Indians were unable to put any runs on the board, Kuchno ended the night with three scoreless innings.

Indianapolis returns Sunday afternoon in hopes of ending the series against Buffalo on a high note. First pitch is set for 1:35 p.m. This story was not subject to the approval of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues or its clubs.
