Osceola Magic News Release

The Osceola Magic defeated the Greensboro Swarm at the Novant Health Fieldhouse 119-115 Monday afternoon.

Jett Howard led the charge with a game-high 32 points.

"The team has done a great job at sharing the ball," Howard stated. "As a shooter, I get most of my buckets by them creating disadvantages. The more they share the ball, the more I eat. After losing three straight in a row on the road, we have come together and found our camaraderie. I'm very proud of our team."

D.J. Wilson collected a double-double, contributing 15 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.

"It was a tale of two halves," said Wilson post-game. "I was able to find my rhythm and flow in the second half. I was continuing to do the little things, making the right plays, grabbing every rebound. We're fortunate to have a bunch of great scorers out there. It's great to be able to come back and win three in a row; we can't wait to play at home on Thursday."

The Magic and Swarm battled throughout the first quarter, as the lead changed hands six times. Seven Magic players scored in double digits, showcasing their offensive prowess with a shooting percentage of 52.4% from the field and 40.5% from beyond the arc. The victory extends Osceola's win streak to three games after a 1-3 start to the year.

The Osceola Magic (4-3), NBA G League Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will host the Westchester Knicks, on Thursday, January 18 at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee at 7 pm.
