Osceola Magic News Release
The Osceola Magic defeated the Motor City Cruise at the Wayne State Fieldhouse 112-103 Thursday night.
Mac McClung led the Magic with 31 points to help the Magic end a three-game losing skid.
"We recently lost two great players of ours, and we had to grow," McClung stated. "Everyone's adapting, and we played really well tonight. D.J. (Wilson) is an NBA big; having him on our team is huge. He makes it so much easier for us."
Wilson contributed a double-double, scoring 27 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the victory.
"It's always great to visit Michigan; it feels even better to win," Wilson said after the game. "It was a great team effort tonight; everyone was crashing the glass and playing hard. Our plan is to finish the road trip strong, go back to Kissimmee."
Osceola dominated inside Thursday, outrebounding Motor City 52-38 and outscoring them in the paint 72-40. The Magic took the lead with 1:20 remaining in the first quarter and never let it slip to secure their second victory of the season.
The Osceola Magic (2-3), NBA G League Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will face the Greensboro Swarm, on Saturday, January 13 at the Novant Health Fieldhouse in Greensboro at 6:00 PM. The game will stream on NBAGLeague.com.
