In the second game, that got a completely different start, the Voyagers hopped out to a 2-0 lead, sending it to the bottom of the 5th inning. With only seven innings scheduled, RF Tristen Carranza recorded his first triple of the season. Carranza would eventually score, cutting the Voyagers' lead in half.

On the final Fireworks Extravaganza night of the year, the O's offense began the show earlier than scheduled, bringing a crowd of 2,649 to their feet with three runs scoring in the bottom of the 6th , highlighted by Brickhouse's third home run of the year, enough to give the O's the lead for good. Missoula lefty Ezequiel De La Cruz (W, 1-0) recorded two outs, striking out one to hold the score. With the crowd behind him, O's righty Jhonny Valdez struck out the side, his first save in Missoula.
