
Orioles Reinstate RHP Koji Uehara From 15-Day Disabled List

The Orioles today announced that RHP KOJI UEHARA has returned from his rehab assignment and been reinstated from the 15-day disabled list, where he was placed on April 3 (retroactive to March 26), with a left hamstring strain.
Uehara, 35, worked 2.0 scoreless innings in two appearances (April 27 & 29) with Double-A Bowie, allowing a hit, walk and strikeout. He also appeared in two games with Triple-A Norfolk (May 2 & 3), pitching 2.0 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and recording a strikeout on the rehab assignment. Uehara pitched to a 1.69 ERA (5.1IP, ER) in six spring training games.
