The Orioles today announced that RHP Jim Johnson has been recalled from Norfolk and optioned LHP Garrett Olson to rookie level Bluefield.
Johnson made one appearance for the Orioles earlier this year, allowing 2 earned runs in 2.0 innings against Boston on April 25. He went 5-11 with a 3.99 ERA (133.0IP, 59ER) with 100 strikeouts in 24 games (23 starts) for Norfolk.
Olson has made 5 starts with the Orioles and went 1-2 with a 7.33 ERA (23.1IP, 19ER) and 21 strikeouts.
