Regina, Saskatchewan - With the World Junior Hockey Championships just around the corner, the Regina Pats have just 3 games left in 2009.

Saturday, December 5th (7:00) - The Pats will host their divisional rivals in the Brandon Wheat Kings. They bring with them two Canadian World Junior hopefuls in Brayden Schenn and Scott Glennie. It's also the Pats annual "Toque and Teddy Bear Toss" night, with all the collected brand new toys and toques to be given away to local hospitals and charities for the Christmas season.

Sunday, December 6th (6:00) - It another big divisional match-up with the Prince Albert Raiders heading into the Brandt Centre for the second time this season. It's K-9's 31s birthday, and we will celebrate it with a mascot hockey game during the 1st intermission. Santa will also make an appearance just in time for the game.

Wednesday, December 9th (7:00) - The defending WHL champ, Kelowna Rockets come to the Brandt Centre for the first time in 2 seasons. It's also the finals of the Home Depot "Race Around the World" with two Regina World Junior Hockey Championship packages going to the winner.

Some quick Regina Pat Facts:

-The Regina Pats have sent more players to play for Team Canada (20) than any other team in the CHL.

-The Pats power play is currently 2nd in the WHL at 29.3% which is also the second best in all of Canada.

-Jordan Eberle is second in the WHL in scoring, he trails Brandon Kozun by 5 points, but has played in 6 less games. He is also 3rd in the CHL in scoring behind Kozun an Windsor's Taylor Hall.

-Heading into this weekend, the difference between third in the Eastern Conference (Brandon- 38) and 8th in the conference (Red Deer - 32) is just six points with the Pats right in the middle of the mix with 33 points.
