
On-Ice Passes For KC And The Sunshine Band On Sale Now

Milwaukee, WI--Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that a limited number of general admission on-ice passes for the KC and the Sunshine Band concert after the Admirals 7:00 pm game on Friday, April 9th at the Bradley Center are on sale now. The on-ice passes allow fans exclusive access to watch the concert from ice level directly in front of the stage.
The concert is free with a game ticket and fans may purchase on-ice passes for an additional $20 at the Milwaukee Admirals office (510 W. Kilbourn Ave.), the Bradley Center Box Office, or at www.ticketmaster.com. Fans must have a ticket for the game to gain entry into the Bradley Center for both the game and the concert. The KC and the Sunshine Band concert will start approximately 30 minutes after the Admirals-Chicago game.
The on-ice passes have become one of the most popular aspects of the Admirals concert series. Already this year, the on-ice passes have sold out for Blake Shelton, the Dropkick Murphys and Foreigner.
Since the group's formation in 1973, KC and the Sunshine Band has been a mainstay on the disco/funk scene, releasing 13 studio albums. Their unique sound has prompted audiences of all ages to get up and dance for over 35 years.
Their first album experienced good success, but it was their self-titled second album that catapulted the band to stardom with two number one singles, "Get Down Tonight" and "That's the Way (I Like It)." Overall, KC and the Sunshine Band have had five songs reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100; the other three being "I'm Your Boogie Man," "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty," and "Please Don't Go."
Their hit songs have become a part of American pop culture, appearing in numerous commercials, video games, and movies. With nine Grammy nominations and three Grammy awards, KC and the Sunshine Band have receive critical acclaim to go along with all of their popular success.
The Admirals return to the action on Thursday, March 25 when they host the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center. Fans can order tickets by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Groups of ten or more people receive a minimum of $2 off of each ticket.
