Omaha Beef Announce 2012 Ball Babe Tryouts

OMAHA, NE: The Omaha Beef have announced tryouts for the 2012 Ball Babes are to be held on October 16th, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Fox & Hound on 120th & Dodge. Ball Babe tryouts will also correlate with a Beef "Tailgate Party" seeing as how tryouts will be held during the Sunday NFL games.

The Ball Babes are the promotional team for the Omaha Beef, as well as the on-field ball crew during home games. Contestants must be 21 and over, and be able to attend all home games (usually scheduled on Saturdays at 7 p.m.) as well as designated community events. Contestants also need to bring a headshot and wear black shorts with plain white t-shirts and tennis shoes. The Ball Babes are expected to maintain a professional appearance and represent the Omaha Beef organization, as well as the Indoor Football League. The Beef "Tailgate Party" is the first big fan event coming off the 2011 season. The Beef invite fans to come out and cheer on the Ball Babe contestants, as well as enjoy food and drink specials and NFL football. Rump Roasters, Prime dancers, and coaching staff all will be in attendance. Ball Babe contestants will mingle with crowd for the first half of the NFL game, followed by interviews at half time. 2012 Ball Babes will be announced at the end of the game.

The Omaha Beef are entering their 13th straight season of Professional Indoor Football. The Beef have had 12 straight winning seasons, as well as 12 straight playoff appearances.
