Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice are proud to announce the signings of running backs Alex Allen and Booker Stanley.
Allen is a 6'0", 215 lb running back from The University of Akron, who was rated as the 55th best running back prospect in the nation for the 2011 draft class. During his career at Akron, Allen played in 46 games, accumulating 1,631 rushing yards, 23 rushing touchdowns, 35 receptions, and 263 receiving yards. In his senior season alone, Allen had 877 rushing yards, 8 touchdowns, 17 receptions, and 115 receiving yards.
Stanley is a 5'9", 215 lb running back from The University of Wisconsin and The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Stanley was rated as the 86th best running back prospect in the nation for the 2011 draft class. In his senior season at Wisconsin-Whitewater, Stanley helped lead his team to a national championship by accumulating 701 rushing yards, 7 touchdowns, 7 receptions, and 22 receiving yards. During his time at The University of Wisconsin, Stanley played in 38 games, accumulating 1,213 rushing yards, 10 rushing touchdowns, 28 receptions, 225 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown.
