Olson Nets First Hat Trick in 7-5 Win over Spokane

The Tri-City Americans faced their rival the Spokane Chiefs tonight in the Auto Zone's First Responders Night matchup.

AMS, Beck Warm, did not allow the Chiefs to take any lead tonight and stopped a total of 45 out of the 50 shots they took.

Nolan Yaremko and Connor Bouchard, scored 2 out of the 7 goals tonight for the Americans in the first period.

Kyle Olson lands two in the second period along with Parker AuCoin giving the AMS a 5-0 lead in the beginning of the second period. That was AuCoin's 5th shorthanded goal this season.

Spokane's first goal didn't come in till late in the second.

Sasha Mutala found the back of the net in the beginning of the third and kept the lead at 6-2.

Anaheim Ducks prospect, Kyle Olson, scored an empty net goal with four seconds remaining to record his first WHL hat trick.
