
OL Reign Signs Ryanne Brown, Elli Reed, and Jodi Ulkekul as National Team Replacement Players

SEATTLE, WA - OL Reign today announced that it has signed defender Ryanne Brown, defender Elli Reed, and defender Jodi Ulkekul as National Team Replacement Players (NTRP). All three players have been signed ahead of today's match at Lumen Field. Per league and club policy, financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Selected by OL Reign as the 21st overall pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft, Brown was a member of the Reign during the 2022 NWSL preseason and Challenge Cup. The 23-year-old graduated from Wake Forest University after appearing in 82 games with 57 starts.
Reed, an original member of the Reign in 2013, played five consecutive seasons with the club through 2017. The 32-year-old appeared in 77 matches, starting in 60 and playing for a total of 5,613 minutes with the Reign. Additionally, Reed tallied four assists and helped the Reign win the Supporters' Shield in back-to-back seasons (2014 and 2015).
Ulkekul, originally from Sammamish, WA., joins the Reign after playing professionally overseas with CD Castellón in Spain and AS Roma in Italy. Prior to playing overseas, Ulkekul attended Gonzaga University and started in 69 of her 74 appearances, tallying seven goals and eight assists.
