LAST GAME:

The RedHawks tallied three runs in the top of the ninth to break a three all tie and win 6-3. Oklahoma took an early 1-0 lead when Nelson Cruz scored on a Nate Gold single in the first. Tacoma tied the game in the fifth, and each team scored twice in the sixth to advance it to a 3-3 game. The RedHawks scored all three runs in the ninth on bases loaded walks. Rainiers' pitcher Roy Corcoran and manager Daren Brown were both ejected after the fourth walk of the inning that brought home Oklahoma's sixth and final run. Kameron Loe earned his second win of the season and the RedHawks took their third game of this eight-game road trip.

HELD HOMERLESS:

The RedHawks failed to hit a home run in a game for the first time in nearly a week, snapping a five game streak. Oklahoma had hit nine home runs over the last five games, including four by Nelson Cruz and two by Nate Gold. The RedHawks longest streak this season was nine straight games with at least one home run, from April 11 through April 20.

WALK ON:

Oklahoma walked eight times in last night's win and took their Triple-A leading tally to 140. Only four teams have walked more than the RedHawks this season across all of affiliated ball. St. Louis has accumulated 150 walks, following by Lake Elsinore with 147, the Chicago Cubs at 144, and Oakland with 142. Nelson Cruz has 27 walks to lead Oklahoma (19% of RedHawks total free passes) and trails only Albert Pujols (32) and Justin Maxwell of Harrisburg (31) among current players at any level.

NOT FACTORING IN:

Elizardo Ramirez did not factor in the decision in a game he appeared in for the first time this season during last night's RedHawks victory. Ramirez began the year in the Oklahoma bullpen and made two appearances before joining the rotation as the fifth starter. The right-hander went 1-1 from the pen and 3-1 as a starter prior to yesterday's no-decision, his second quality start this season.

IT"S VERY EARLY:

The RedHawks held a team ERA of 4.29 after the first month of the season, but have fared well over the first few days of May with a team ERA of 2.30, the lowest mark in the PCL this month.

TACOMA AT A GLANCE:

The Rainiers have not lost more than two consecutive games this season, nor have they won more than three in a row... Rob Johnson had an 18-game on-base streak snapped in Friday night's loss to Oklahoma. Johnson went 0-3... Matt Tuiasosopo also had an 18-game on-base streak snapped Friday. Tuiasosopo finished 0-4 Friday and has been kept off the bases in seven straight at bats this series...

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION:

Texas beat Oakland 6-3. Former RedHawk A.J. Murray allowed three runs on six hits over five and two-thirds to earn the win... Frisco slipped by Midland 3-2 in 10 innings... Bakersfield lost 12-7 at Visalia... Clinton lost 6-4 at Kane County.

DOT-DOT-DOT:

Jason Ellison has reached base safely in every RedHawks road game he has played in this season, now at 13 consecutive contests. The Oklahoma center fielder is hitting .281 on the road, ten points lower than his average at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark, and has walked eight times away from the Brick.

ON THE AIR:

Every game this season can be heard on the RedHawks Radio Network, led by broadcaster Jim Byers for the ninth season, and joined by Adam Marco during each homestand. Fox Sports Radio AM 1340 in Oklahoma City will serve as the flagship station in 2008.
