
Angels Recall Rodriguez

SALT LAKE CITY (May 4, 2008) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that the club has recalled infielder Sean Rodriguez to triple-A Salt Lake. Rodriguez replaces the injured Chone Figgins, who strained his right hamstring in Saturday's Angels win over Baltimore.
Rodriguez, 22, made his major league debut on April 19, hitting .250 at the plate for the Angels against the Seattle Mariners. The Miami, Fla. native hit .250 in 21 games with 12 RBI, six doubles and four home runs for Salt Lake in 2008.
