Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue their road trip and open a five-game series against the Nashville Sounds at 6:35 p.m. at First Tennessee Park. Despite suffering back-to-back losses, the Dodgers still own the best winning percentage in the PCL (.636), but are tied with Fresno for the second-most wins in the league behind Memphis' 29 victories.

Last Game: The Dodgers fell behind early for the second straight night and were held to one hit through seven innings by Memphis starting pitcher Alex Reyes in a 7-4 loss Thursday night at AutoZone Park. The Dodgers faced off against the St. Louis Cardinals' No. 1 prospect Reyes, who was making a rehab start. Reyes (1-0) pitched seven shutout innings, holding the Dodgers to one single and one walk with 13 strikeouts. He retired 15 straight Dodgers after Jacob Scavuzzo's single led off the third inning, including nine consecutive strikeouts between the third and sixth innings. A RBI single by Luke Voit and back-to-back RBI doubles by Wilfredo Tovar and Adolis Garcia gave the Redbirds a 3-0 lead in the first inning. In the sixth, RBI singles by Oscar Mercado and Max Schrock gave Memphis a 5-0 lead. The Dodgers' offense scored four runs in the eighth after Reyes left the game. Kyle Garlick hit a RBI double, and later with two outs, Breyvic Valera drilled a fly ball to left field for a three-run homer to cut Memphis' lead to 5-4. In the bottom of the eighth, Mercado connected on a backbreaking two-out, two-run single to boost the Memphis lead to 7-4. Dodgers starting pitcher Dennis Santana (1-1) was charged with the loss. After his rough first inning, he kept Memphis scoreless the next four frames. He allowed seven hits and two walks with three K's. Preston Guilmet picked up his ninth save.

Road Rash: Although the Dodgers have a sterling 20-4 record at home, it has not been the same story on the road. Of the 12 total road losses, eight have come by one or two runs...The Dodgers have been held to two or fewer runs six times over the last 12 road games, with four games tallying one or no runs. Unlucky 13: Last night marked the third time in the team's last 17 games an opposing starting pitcher has racked up 13 strikeouts against the Dodgers.
