Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers look to snap a three-game losing skid when they continue their series against the Memphis Redbirds at 7:05 p.m. on a $2 Thursday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers have not lost four consecutive games since July 9-15, 2017 against New Orleans.

Last Game: The Dodgers suffered a third straight loss as Memphis defeated OKC, 7-2, Wednesday afternoon at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers took the lead in the first inning, and later trailed, 3-2, before the Redbirds scored four unanswered runs. Memphis starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (4-1) racked up a career-high 13 strikeouts over 6.2 innings and retired 10 straight OKC batters between the third and sixth innings, including seven straight K's. Donovan Solano gave OKC the early lead, belting his first homer of the season out to left field in the first inning. Wilfredo Tovar led off the third inning with a homer for Memphis' first hit to tie the game. A sacrifice fly by Tyler O'Neill gave the Redbirds the lead and a RBI single by Luke Voit pushed the lead to 3-1. Solano's RBI single in the third got the Dodgers back within one run. Adolis Garcia's homer in the fourth and Yairo Munoz's RBI triple in the fifth made it 5-2 in favor of the "Birds. Tovar's RBI single in the eighth and a ground-rule RBI double by Voit in the ninth finished the scoring. Dodgers starting pitcher Manny Bañuelos (4-1) was charged with the loss, allowing a season-high five runs and eight hits over 5.0 innings, with one walk and four strikeouts.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Daniel Corcino (2-0) makes his third start of the season and sixth appearance for OKC...Corcino was a late addition to the starting lineup May 5 against Colorado Springs after Brock Stewart was scratched from his scheduled start. Corcino ended up tossing three scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk and matching his season high with five strikeouts in a no decision...Corcino stepped in to make his first start April 30 in Memphis. He delivered five scoreless innings and allowed just one hit. Corcino retired 15 of 17 batters he faced overall in his longest outing since Sept. 17, 2014, when he started for the Cincinnati Reds against the Chicago Cubs (5.2 IP). He did not issue a walk and notched three strikeouts...In his two starts combined, Corcino has not given up a run and scattered three hits over 8.0 innings, with one walk and eight strikeouts...He split 2017 between High-A Rancho Cucamonga, Double-A Tulsa and Double-A Tennessee (Cubs). He was released by the Cubs April 27, 2017 and signed by the Dodgers May 11, 2017...Corcino made his MLB debut Aug. 26, 2014 for Cincinnati against the Cubs and compiled 18.2 IP in five appearances (three starts) in the Majors in 2014...He was originally signed as an amateur free agent by the Reds Jan. 11, 2008...Tonight is his second career appearance against Memphis.

Against the Redbirds: 2018: 2-4 2017: 8-7 All-time: 170-155 At OKC: 95-65

After splitting the first series of the season between the teams April 30-May 3 in Memphis, the Dodgers have won or split nine straight series against the defending PCL champion Redbirds...The Dodgers outscored the Redbirds, 18-13, in the first series of the season, posting two shutout wins and losing the other two games by one-run margins...The Dodgers won the 2017 series, 8-7, and have won five consecutive season series against Memphis. OKC has not lost a season series to the Redbirds since 2011, and the Dodgers were the only team in the PCL last season to have winning record against the 91-win Redbirds...OKC went 4-4 against the Redbirds in OKC last season and has not posted a losing home record against the Redbirds at home in four straight seasons, going 17-14.

Out of the Gates: The Dodgers have won 22 of their first 31 games of 2018, matching the best overall record by an OKC team through 31 games since rejoining the PCL in 1998. The 2015 squad also went 22-9 to start the season...Despite some recent stumbles, OKC still owns the best winning percentage in the Minors (.710) and is tied with Memphis, Double-A San Antonio (Padres) and High-A Jupiter (Marlins) for the most wins in the Minors.

Dominant Donovan: Donovan Solano collected his team-leading 13th multi-hit game of the season Wednesday as he drove in both of OKC's runs and hit his first homer of 2018. Solano paces the Dodgers with 39 hits through 27 games and has now hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games (16x42) and in 22 of his 27 games this season. His .375 average ranks fifth in the PCL and he is batting .402 (37x92) over his last 23 outings...Solano has stepped things up even further at home, slashing .473/.532/.582 in 15 games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Rock Steady: Rocky Gale did not play Wednesday, but recorded his third straight multi-hit game Tuesday, and sixth in his last seven outings. He extended his hitting streak to a season-best 10 games for the longest hitting streak by a Dodger this season. He is batting .436 (17x39) during the streak with a double, triple, three homers and eight RBI. He has already surpassed his 2017 homer total (3) with four homers through his first 19 games of 2018...Behind the plate, Gale leads the PCL with a 57.9 caught stealing percentage (11x19).

Ups and Downs on the Mound: The Dodgers pitching staff has allowed at least seven runs in back-to-back games for the first time this season and has allowed 20 runs total over the last three losses. Over their four wins prior, OKC allowed just four total runs. Even with the recent rough patch, OKC pitchers still pace all of Triple-A with a 2.91 ERA this season...The Dodgers have lost by five runs each of the last two days, marking their most lopsided losses of the season, and have allowed a season-high seven extra-base hits in each of the last two games as well. Additionally, the Redbirds have tallied 11 hits in each of the first two games of the series after the Dodgers had allowed their opponent to collect 10 or more hits just once in the previous 20 games. However, they still have allowed a league-low 234 hits overall this season...Opponents are 11-for-27 with RISP the last three games after OKC held the opposition 3-for-the-last-35 entering Monday's game...This month, the starting rotation is 1-4 with a 4.89 ERA over nine games after collectively going 8-0 with a 2.05 ERA over 22 games in April.

The Old Switcheroo: Switch-handed pitcher Pat Venditte has put together nine straight scoreless relief outings totaling 12.1 innings, allowing four hits and one walk with 15 strikeouts. Venditte has not allowed an earned run in 10 straight outings (13.1 IP) and has not issued a walk in eight consecutive appearances (10.1 IP).

Around the Horn: An opposing starting pitcher has racked up a career-high 13 strikeouts against the Dodgers twice in the last four games: Memphis' Jack Flaherty Wednesday and Colorado Springs' Corbin Burnes Sunday. Only twice in the past 13 seasons had an OKC opponent struck out as many as 12 batters in a game during the regular season. Memphis' Lance Lynn struck out 16 RedHawks on Sept. 10, 2010 during the playoffs...Donovan Solano became the 14th different Dodger to go deep this season. The team has 27 total homers, and no player has more than four dingers...Opponents have a hit a home run in a season-long four straight games, totaling seven dingers. Prior to Sunday, the Dodgers had allowed just one home run over the previous six games and six homers in the first 14 home games.
