Frankie Gets 10 K's: Last night's starter Frankie Montas became the first Sounds pitcher of 2018 to record at least 10 strikeouts in a game. Montas' 10 strikeouts were one shy of his career-high 11 set on May 22, 2014 with Winston-Salem. Prior to Montas, the last Sounds hurler to rack up at least 10 strikeouts in a game was tonight's starter, Daniel Gossett, who struck out 10 on August 17, 2017 vs. Memphis.

Phegley Ties Franchise Record: Catcher Josh Phegley tied a Sounds franchise record when he drew four walks last night. Phegley is the seventh Sounds player to draw four walks in a game during the PCL era.

Walk This Way: With Phegley notching four, the Sounds drew nine walks last night. It's the third-highest total of 2018 after 11 on April 14 vs. Omaha and 10 on April 12 vs. Iowa.

First Loss After Six: Nashville's 5-2 lead after six innings didn't hold up last night. It was the first time the Sounds have dropped a game when leading after six. At 12-1, Nashville was the second-to-last team to drop a game when leading after six. Salt Lake is a perfect 16-0 when leading after six innings.
