Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers open a three-game home series against the Omaha Storm Chasers at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. With 16 games remaining in the regular season, the Dodgers lead the American Northern Division by 1.5 games ahead of second-place Colorado Springs and 8.5 games ahead of third-place Omaha.

Last Games: On Sunday, the Dodgers swept both games of a doubleheader against Iowa at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, winning Game 1, 5-0, and winning Game 2, 5-2. OKC played as the visiting team in Game 1 as the teams made up a game that was postponed April 9 in Des Moines and quickly took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning on a two-run double by Edwin RÃ-os and RBI single by Travis Taijeron. The Dodgers added to their lead in the fifth inning on a RBI single by Andrew Toles for a 4-0 advantage. OKC pitcher Tyler Pill pinch-hit in the seventh inning and homered to right-center field to boost OKC's lead to 5-0. OKC starting pitcher Justin DeFratus (3-4) earned the win, pitching six shutout innings, allowing seven hits and two walks with four K's. Iowa starting pitcher Jen-Ho Tseng (2-13) was charged with the loss...In Game 2, the Dodgers opened a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning. Toles hit into a fielder's choice that scored a run before Kyle Garlick followed with a two-run home run out to left-center field. The Dodgers added two more runs in the fifth inning. Matt Beaty scored on a passed ball before Tim Locastro hit a RBI double to the wall in left field to extend the lead to 5-0. Iowa's only runs of the day came in the top of the sixth inning after starting the frame with four straight singles, including RBI knocks by Ryan Court and Chris Coghlan. Dodgers starting pitcher Daniel Corcino (3-3) picked up the win, allowing two runs and seven hits over 5.0 innings with one walk and four strikeouts. Joe Broussard closed out the game for his ninth save. Iowa reliever Alberto Baldonado (7-2) was charged with the loss.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Kyle Lobstein (0-4) seeks his first win with OKC when he takes the mound for his fifth start...The lefty held the Omaha to two runs over 5.0 IP in his last start Aug. 15, allowing seven hits and four walks with three strikeouts. He was hit with the loss in OKC's 3-1 defeat at Werner Park...Lobstein signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers June 22 and has also made seven starts for Double-A Tulsa, posting a 3-2 record and 2.56 ERA over 38.2 IP. He issued nine walks against 25 K's and owned a 2.2/1 groundout-to-flyout ratio...Over 57.0 total innings between Tulsa and OKC, Lobstein has surrendered just three home runs...Lobstein started the season with Toros de Tijuana of the Mexican Baseball League, making 11 starts and going 4-2 with a 2.95 ERA. He issued 19 walks and racked up 49 K's over 58.0 IP. He tied for the team lead in innings and starts and held opponents to two runs or less in 10 starts...Lobstein made his MLB debut Aug. 23, 2014 with Detroit against Minnesota and has made 34 MLB appearances (17 starts) for Detroit (20 games) and Pittsburgh (14 games), going a combined 6-10 with a 5.06 ERA over 128.0 IP with 49 walks and 74 K's...He was originally selected by Tampa Bay in the second round (47th overall) of the 2008 MLB Draft from Coconino High School (Ariz.)...Tonight is his fourth career appearance against Omaha. Between his last start and two relief appearances with New Orleans last season, Lobstein is 0-1 with a 1.69 ERA and has held the Storm Chasers to a .225 average.

Against the Storm Chasers: 2018: 6-7 2017: 7-10 All-time: 155-144 At OKC: 78-69 The Dodgers and Omaha are meeting for their final series of the regular season and for the second series of the season at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark...Omaha won the last series between the teams Aug. 13-16 at Werner Park, posting wins in the final three games of the four-game series...Entering tonight, Omaha has won four of the last five games between the teams as well as five of the last seven meetings...The Dodgers won their first series of the season against Omaha, 3-2, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, with the Dodgers winning the middle three meetings of the series...Omaha has outscored OKC, 64-62, and outhit the Dodgers, 130-123, through 13 meetings this season...Edwin RÃ-os leads the Dodgers with 19 hits through 13 games, including seven doubles, a home run, seven RBI and seven runs scored...The Storm Chasers won the 2017 season series, 10-7, marking the fifth time in seven years they won the season series, as well as the seventh time in 10 years...OKC is 1-5-1 in the season series since 2011.

Timmy Lo-Down: Tim Locastro went 4-for-5 over both games of Sunday's doubleheader, hitting two doubles, scoring three runs, collecting a RBI and was hit by pitch twice. He reached base in six of seven plate appearances, and going back to Saturday, he's reached base in eight of his last 10 plate appearances (6 H, 2 HBP)...Locastro has hit safely in five straight games, going 9-for-17 with three doubles, six runs scored and three RBI...He leads the Dodgers with 23 hits through 18 games in August, and his .470 on-base percentage this month ranks fifth-highest in Triple-A...The high OBP is partly due to 13 HBP's this month. By comparison, only two teams in the PCL have as many as 10 HBP's in August.

For Whom the Bell Toles: Andrew Toles has picked up at least one RBI in five straight games, collecting nine total during the stretch...In the four-game series against Iowa, Toles went 6-for-16 with two homers, a triple, four runs scored and eight RBI. Entering the first game of the series Friday, Toles had been held 0-for-11 over his last three games and 2-for-22 over his last seven games. He also had not homered since July 8 vs. Round Rock...His 12 RBI in the month of August lead the Dodgers.

Leaving the Yard: After hitting just one home run over their last 10 games entering Friday, and just six homers through the first 15 games of August, the Dodgers have homered in four straight games. Even with the recent bump, OKC's 10 dingers this month are tied for second-fewest in the PCL...Tyler Pill's pinch-hit homer in Game 1 Sunday was the team's second pinch-hit homer this season, and the first home run hit by a pitcher this year. The last OKC pitcher to go yard was Trevor Oaks on May 29, 2017 at New Orleans.

Quiet Riot: The Dodgers have been held to eight hits or less in each of the last seven games. During that time, the Dodgers are batting .196 (44x224), including 11-for-56 (.196) with runners in scoring position. They have scored 23 runs during the stretch, and although the hits have not been plentiful, they have managed to tally at least five runs in three of the last four games.

Starting Line: OKC starting pitchers were impressive during the recent four-game series against Iowa. The unit combined to post a 1.57 ERA (4 ER/23.0 IP) and held the I-Cubs to .247 average (21x85) and no home runs, with 18 strikeouts against five walks.

Around The Horn: Sunday's Game 1 shutout marked OKC's ninth shutout win of the season and third in the month of August...Over his first seven Triple-A appearances, reliever Stetson Allie has allowed one earned run (two runs total) and two hits over 6.2 innings. He's held opponents 2-for-19...Tonight the Dodgers will look to win consecutive home series openers for the first time since May 4. They have lost five of the last seven home series openers and are 3-7 in the last 10 home series openers.
