Playoff-Bound Grizzlies to Hold Fan Appreciation Homestand (August 24-30)

FRESNO, Calif. - The 12th and final Fresno Grizzlies homestand of the 2018 regular season is scheduled for August 24-30 with seven games against the Salt Lake Bees (Los Angeles Angels) and El Paso Chihuahuas (San Diego Padres). Tickets beginning as low as $10 may be purchased at the Chukchansi Park box office, or anytime at FresnoGrizzlies.com. Fresno currently leads the PCL's Pacific Northern Division by 7.0 games with 14 to play, making their second division title and playoff appearance in four seasons all but a formality. The Grizzlies will likely clinch a postseason berth on their upcoming homestand; playoff tickets are currently on sale in person and online.

Here is a preview of the week's promotional schedule:

Friday, August 24 (7:05 p.m.) - Princess & Pirates Night presented by ABC 30: All kids 12 and under in costume will receive a FREE ticket; be sure mom and dad's phones are charged with several movie-quality princesses and pirates throughout the ballpark ready for photo-ops. Includes a pirate ship!

Friday Night Fireworks presented by Toyota: This will be the second-to-last post-game fireworks spectacular at Chukchansi Park this season, as a fireworks show has also been added to the first home playoff game, on September 7.

World Series Trophy: Four of the last eight World Series Champions have been "Farm Grown" in Fresno (that never gets old), and on Friday the Houston Astros' 2017 World Series Trophy will be on display at Chukchansi Park, available for fans to take photos with from gates open until the late innings.

Farmer's Market: On the concourse pre-game and during the game, presented by GAR Tootelian.

Saturday, August 25 (7:05 p.m.) - Christian Fellowship Night presented by Spirit 88.9 & 100.1: Recording artist Blanca will perform a FREE concert following the game, inside Chukchansi Park.

2018 FAN APPRECIATION "Yard Sale" Giveaways: We have 2,500 spare giveaways from earlier this season- everything from Carlos Correa Starting Lineup figures (presented by Chukchansi Gold Casino & Resort), Alex Bregman bobbleheads (presented by Valley First Credit Union) and "Farm Grown" replica jerseys, to be given out at random at the gates while supplies last. Feel free to trade with other fans to complete your collection, that's half the fun! There will also be a limited amount of Tony Kemp and Buster Posey/Tim Lincecum bobbleheads from last season, and select giveaways from past seasons.

Sunday, August 26 (5:05 p.m.) - Team photo giveaway and full-team autograph session: Rather than just two players as usual on Sunday, the entire Grizzlies roster will sign autographs from 3:15 until 3:45 after gates open. A 2018 team photo will be given away to the first 1,000 fans at the gates, a perfect keepsake of a playoff season and/or autograph piece.

Save Mart Sunday: Fans should bring their Save Mart receipt or show the Save Mart app at the ticket office to receive $5 off each ticket in their purchase (limit eight tickets). Pre-game catch on the field for families will begin shortly after 4 p.m., lasting approximately 20 minutes. Kids run the bases postgame.

Monday, August 27 (7:05 p.m.) - Monday Madness presented by The Fresno Bee: It's your LAST CHANCE this season to take advantage of the best ticket deal in Minor League Baseball! Fans can take advantage of two Reserved tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas, two Fresno Chaffee Zoo vouchers and two Pieology pizza or salad vouchers, all for just $25! Only available at the ticket office.

Tuesday, August 28 (7:05 p.m.) - Toyota Taco Tuesday: The Grizzlies' alter-ego, the Fresno Tacos, take the field for the final time this season! In addition to 2-for-1 (buy one, get one) field box and club tickets, fans will be able to enjoy $2 tacos from Taco Truck Throwdown-approved trucks and "Oppo Taco" on the right field concourse at Chukchansi Park, $2 sodas and $2 churros (specials good through the fifth inning).

Dos Equis | Dos Tacos: Purchase a 24-oz Dos Equis can and receive a voucher for two FREE tacos from one of the trucks.

Wednesday, August 29 (7:05 p.m.) - "Best of 2018": Join us as we re-live our top promotional nights from the past season, all during one game! "Touch of Gravy" will perform post-game (Grateful Dead Night, July 27), the return of "McDowell's" and the "Big Mick" (Coming to Fresno Night, June 21) and the ninja star throwing range (Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris Night, August 9) are just a few of the attractions which will return for one night only. "Frankenslice," pizza with a hot dog inside the crust will also return for the August 29 game - an all-time classic Grizzlies food creation.

Wear The Bear Wednesday: Fans will enjoy an automatic 25% off their in-game purchase in the Fresno Grizzlies Team Store on the final Wear The Bear Wednesday of 2018, on top of several other end-of-the-season discounts.

Thursday, August 30 (7:05 p.m.) - Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino: Prizes will be awarded to randomly selected seats throughout the game. 2018 player awards will also be handed out pre-game, which includes Team MVP, Offensive Player of The Year, Defensive Player of The Year, Pitcher of The Year and Community MVP.

Thursday Happy Hour Special: The best food deal in Triple-A! At every Thursday home game from gates open (6:05 p.m.) to first pitch, fans can order a burger, fries and a 12-ounce beer or soda for just FIVE DOLLARS.
