Tulsa Oilers News Release

Busy Week: The Tulsa Oilers have four games this week, including starting their longest homestand of the season. They host the Colorado Eagles on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. then visit the Wichita Thunder Wednesday at 7:05. The Oilers open a six game homestand (their longest of the season) Friday against the Rocky Mountain Rage at 7:35 p.m. and host the New Mexico Scorpions Saturday at 7:35 p.m.

Rush Week: It wasn't a college fraternity week but two games for the Oilers against the Rapid City Rush last week. The two teams split, with the Oilers winning 5-3 on Friday night and Rapid City winning 5-1 on Saturday.

$2 Tuesday: Against Colorado, the Oilers and BOK Center present $2 Tuesday. College students can be admitted for just $2 with a valid college ID and beer and soft drinks are just $2 Tuesday.

Military Honor:The Oilers are offering half price tickets to all military personnel (active, reserve and retired) for Friday's game with Rocky Mountain.

First Timers: The Oilers had two players score their first professional goals last week. Augie DiMarzo got the Oilers first goal on Friday night and Matt Maccarone scored his first on Saturday night, which was the Oilers only goal that night.

New Faces: DiMarzo and Maccarone were just two of five Oilers who also played their first home game on Friday. Jason Weitzel, Riccardo Rigamonti, and Matt Smyth (first home game this season although he did play for the Oilers briefly last year so he had not played in the BOK Center) also were playing their first home games for the Oilers this season.
