
Cherwonak Resigns, Head Coach/GM Pietroniro Assumes Role as Team President

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League announced Monday that Steve Cherwonak has resigned his position as Team President, effective immediately. Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro, in addition to his current duties, will assume the role of Team President.
"It is with mixed emotions that I have tendered my resignation to the Arizona Sundogs, effective immediately," said Cherwonak. "The Sundogs, in their brief history, have achieved a high level of success, both on and off the ice, that will surely continue and be enhanced under the guidance and direction of Consolidated Sports Holdings. I offer my sincere best wishes to the entire organization and their very passionate fan base."
"The Arizona Sundogs would like to thank Steve for his efforts and wish him the best in his future endeavors," said Pietroniro.
