Tulsa Oilers News Release

Two Home: The Tulsa Oilers have two home games this week featuring the defending Central Hockey League champions and their long time arch rivals making their final visit of the regular season. Tulsa hosts the Colorado Eagles Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.; visits the Amarillo Gorillas Friday at 7:05 p.m. (KRVT AM 1270); and hosts the Oklahoma City Blazers for the last time this season on Saturday at 7:35 p.m.

Jersey Time: Following Saturday's game, fans will have the chance to get up close and personal with the Oilers. There will be a post game jersey auction (the team's home gray jerseys will be auctioned). Immediately after the auction, fans 21 and older can meet the Oilers at the 4^th annual Ju Jax Oilers party at 115^th and South Memorial in Bixby.

Perfect 10!: The Oilers hit double digits in their win last Friday at Mississippi with a 10-3 victory. The Oilers hadn't hit double digits since Dec. 19, 1997 in an 11-4 win over the Fort Worth Fire. It highlighted the week in which the Oilers lost 4-2 to the Texas Brahmas and dropped a pair of games to the Wichita Thunder, 3-2 and 4-2.

Five Alive: Jeff Christian led the scoring parade at Mississippi with a five point game on two goals and three assists. He leads the Oilers in scoring with 18 goals and 41 assists for 59 points.

Ouch: Defenseman Adam Blanchette took eight stitches when hit with a puck by his right eye Sunday night. The puck didn't do any damage to his eye, and Blanchette could possibly play Tuesday against Colorado.

Tickets Here: Tickets for all Oilers games are available at the Tulsa Convention Center box office or by calling 877-TULSACC (885-7222). Ticket vouchers for FREE tickets for Tuesday's game are available at all area Arby's Restaurants.
