
Brahmas Anders Strome Named Player Of The Week

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (February 18)- Brahmas right wing Anders Strome received the honor of Oakley Central Hockey League(CHL) Player of the Week for his outstanding play during the period of February 11-17.
Strome led the Brahmas last week in their 4 wins with seven points (5 G, 2 A), a +5 rating and 16 shots. His strong numbers reflect his play throughout the season as he leads all Brahmas' scorers with 47 points (29 G, 18 A).
Brahmas Head Coach Dan Wildfong is happy to see Strome honored by the league.
"Anders has been a great asset to the team. His numbers are incredible and we look forward to seeing him continue to play well," said Wildfong.
Prior to joining the Texas Brahmas, Strome played for Rocky Mountain Rage and the Lubbock Cotton Kings in the 2006-07 season where he posted 58 points (32 G, 26 A) in 63 games. He played at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and the CHL for three seasons before playing in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) for three seasons.
Texas is now in a playoff position and currently riding a seven game winning streak, their longest this season.
