Oilers Unveil Full 2015-16 Schedule

TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL announced on Monday their full 72-game schedule for the upcoming 2015-16 season. The Oilers will open their second season in the ECHL on Friday, October 16 at the BOK Center against the Wichita Thunder. Tulsa will compete in the scaled-down Central Division with the Allen Americans, Missouri Mavericks, and Wichita Thunder. For a second straight season, the Oilers' most common opponent is the Allen Americans. Tulsa and Allen will battle 15 times while the Oilers match-up against the Mavericks and Thunder 13 times each.

Last week, the Oilers released the 2015-16 home schedule and Tulsa will play 24 of its 36 home games on weekend dates (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday). All home games Monday through Saturday will begin at 7:05 p.m. while Sunday home dates have a start time of 4:05 p.m.

In addition to welcoming the Utah Grizzlies, Idaho Steelheads, and South Carolina Stingrays the BOK Center for the first time, the Oilers will make their first visits to Utah, Idaho, and Cincinnati. Tulsa will face off against former Central Hockey League foes the Colorado Eagles, Evansville Icemen, and Fort Wayne Komets.

The Oilers' longest home stand of the season is eight games from November 29 to December 19 and the lengthiest road swing is six games from February 26 to March 11. Tulsa will play 15 of its final 20 games away from home and will close the regular season at the BOK Center on Saturday, April 9 against the Wichita Thunder.
