Evansville IceMen Announce 2015-16 ECHL Schedule

Evansville, IN - The Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, have announced their 2015-2016 ECHL game schedule. The home and season opener is Saturday, October 17th @ 7:15pm at the Ford Center against the Indy Fuel.
The IceMen will play the coming year in the ECHL Western Conference - Midwest Division. The IceMen will play 33 of their 72 games against division foes Indy Fuel (11 games), Cincinnati Cyclones (9 games), Quad City Mallards (7 games), and Fort Wayne Komets (6 games). Evansville's home schedule will feature 28 weekend and holiday games. Friday & Saturday night games will once again start at 7:15pm while Sunday games will start at 5:15pm. Weekday games except for our November 4th Education Day Game (9:30am) and December 31st New Year's Eve (7:15pm) will start at a new time of 6:15pm. "Fan surveys have told us that our fans would like to see an earlier starting time on weekday nights because of school and work," said IceMen Chief Operating Officer Jim Riggs. "The IceMen organization want to thank both Scott Schoenike of the Ford Center and the ECHL office for their efforts in assisting us with the schedule," Riggs also added. The IceMen promotional schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
The Evansville road schedule includes familiar visits to Cincinnati, Kalamazoo, Wheeling, Fort Wayne, and Indianapolis. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the IceMen will travel to Anchorage, Alaska for a three game visit to play the Alaska Aces on Novemer 27th, 28th, and 29th.
