
Oilers Trade Tyler Jones to Quad City

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, announces the trade of wide receiver Tyler Jones to Quad City in order to fulfill the "Future Considerations" aspect of the April 17 trade, where Tulsa acquired quarterback/wide receiver Damion May from the Steamwheelers.
Jones, recorded 26 receiving yards on three receptions in three games while adding a touchdown in Week Five of the IFL schedule, on a 7-yard touchdown catch with 11:13 left in the fourth quarter, at home against the Quad City Steamwheelers. Jones spent the past two seasons with the Omaha Beef of the CIF, winning a championship in 2021 while being selected as the Champions Bowl VI Player of the Game, putting up three touchdowns on 10 receptions for 79 yards in the biggest game of the year.
Tulsa's heads out west to try their luck in Vegas against the Knight Hawks, Saturday, May 20. Kickoff is set for 9:05 p.m. Tulsa's next home game is Saturday, May 27, against the Massachusetts Pirates on Military Appreciation Night. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
