Tulsa Oilers News Release
*Rubber Game:* The Tulsa Oilers host the Wichita Thunder in the rubber game of a three game set between the two teams this week.
*Records: *Oilers are 4-9-1 with 9 points in fourth place in the Northeast Division.
Wichita is 5-10-1 for 11 points tied for second place in the Northwest Division.
*Season Series: *This is the fourth of 11 meetings between these two teams, with the Oilers leading the season series 2-1-0. Each team has won the games played on its home ice.
*Recent Action: *These teams met Wednesday night in Wichita with the Thunder taking a 7-3 win. Scott Rozendal had a hat trick and one assist and Jason Duda scored twice and added three assists for Wichita. Brendon Hodge had a pair of goals for the Oilers, to claim the team lead in goals with seven.
*Dandy Dozen*: Mike Beausoleil has run his point streak to 12 games with an assist on Wednesday night. In those dozen games, Beausoleil has registered six goals and 14 assists for 20 points, tops on the Oilers.
*Home Debut:* Tonight marks the first home for Brett McConnachie for the Oilers. He played his first game on Wednesday.
*Likes The Thunder:* Jeff Christian has eight of his 19 points against Wichita. He is the leading scorer among both teams in the three games head to head between the two teams. Christian has one goal and seven assists (half his season assist total) for eight points against Wichita this season.
*Pretty Even:* This series is close in a number of ways this season. Each team has won the games on its home ice. Each team has scored 10 goals in the three games. And the shots on goal are also fairly close through three games, with the Oilers having an 87-81 edge in that department.
*Next Up: *The Oilers continue a three game homestand tomorrow evening at 7:35 when they host the Odessa Jackalopes, in the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
