
Oilers Partner with Rampage

The Tulsa Oilers are welcoming a new hockey team to town and helping the Tulsa Rampage try to welcome their players.
The Rampage is the new Junior B hockey team playing in the Western States Hockey League, with home games at the Oilers Ice Center, at 64th and Mingo.
The Rampage begin a 22 game home schedule on Friday September 15th. Jujior hokcey players are 16-20 years old looking to develop their skills and earn opportunities to play college hockey.
Players for the Rampage will live with area host families. Rampage general manager Julie Wilson says the team is still looking for additional host families. In teaming with the Rampage, the Oilers are offering a $100 discount on Oiler season tickets, to new season ticket holders who become a host family for the Rampage.
"This is just a great first step in what will be a great partnership with the Oilers," Wilson said. "The Oilers have been tremendous in the community for years and the Rampage will be the same. We're excited about the opportunity to bring young, talented hockey players to Tulsa and help them grow in their careers."

Oiler season tickets for the 2006-07 season are now on sale. The prices are the same as the 2005-06 season, ranging from $300 to $475. The Oilers have also instituted an automatic payment plan to make purchasing season tickets even easier and more convenient. Also new this year is a 10 game flex pack.
