Bucks Home Opener Vs. Rio Grande Valley

LAREDO, Texas - The 2006 CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks will host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees in their home opener on October 28th at the Laredo Entertainment Center. Laredo will begin their fifth season of play at home against their Southeast Division rivals. The Bucks are offering a family four pack of season tickets for $999 for the 2006-07 CHL regular season, which works out to just over $7 a seat per game and is a 46 % savings off walkup prices. The complete Bucks 2006-07 schedule will be released this coming Monday at noon.

Laredo will raise the 2005-06 CHL President's Cup Championship banner prior to their home opener against Rio Grande Valley. Also the Bucks players will receive their championship rings on October 28th during their home opener at the LEC.

There will be a drawing that night in which one lucky season ticket holder will win their own Bucks 2006 CHL Championship ring.

A deposit of $50 is required per seat to reserve season tickets for the upcoming 2006-07 Bucks season. Fans will receive one entrant per seat that has a paid $50 deposit by August 19th, into a drawing for the Bucks championship ring.

At every home game during the 2006-07 Bucks regular season one lucky season ticket holder will win a prize. Prizes include a road trip with the Bucks, honorary coach for a period, a skate party with the players and dozens more prizes. Only season ticket holders who put down a deposit by August 19th will be eligible to win these prizes.

BUCKS OPEN HOUSE

- On August 19th the Bucks will hold their second annual open house at the LEC. There will be CHL championship merchandise on sale, as well as behind the scenes tours of the LEC and Bucks players will be on hand to sign autographs. The open house on August 19th is the last day that fans can lay down a $50 deposit per 2006-07 Bucks season ticket and be eligible for the drawing for a 2006 Laredo Bucks CHL Championship ring. For the second straight year the Bucks will partner with the Laredo Animal Protective Society and will have dogs and cats available for adoption at the open house. Adoption fees run $50 for dogs and $30 for cats. The fee includes rabies shots, distemper shots, spay or neuter, plus a bath and dip.

Doctors Hospital will conduct a free health screening at the open house. The Doctors Hospital health screening will feature body fat analysis, blood pressure checks, height, weight and health information.
