
Oilers Host Colorado Then To Texas

Shoot For 3: The Tulsa Oilers will shoot for their third straight win
when they host the Colorado Eagles Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. The Oilers
will then do a Texas Two Step playing at Rio Grande Valley Friday at
7:35 p.m. and at Laredo Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Those two games can be
heard on KRVT AM 1270 and accessed via the internet through
www.tulsaoilers.com Two Straight: The Oilers have won two in a row after 4-2 and 4-1 wins
over Wichita on Saturday and Sunday. That made them .500 on the week
after losing to Wichita 5-3 (with two empty net goals) last Tuesday and
losing to Mississippi 4-2 Friday. Now Leading: Jeff Christian had points in all four games last week. That
gives him points in 22 straight games, which is the longest scoring
streak in the Central Hockey League this season. In the streak,
Christian has 11 goals and 23 assists for 34 points. Another One: Center Brendon Hodge also had points in all four games last
week (including both game winning goals). He has a five game point
streak with three goals and five assists in the last five games. He's The Guy: Goaltender Guy St. Vincent signed with the Oilers last
week, when it was learned Kevin St. Pierre would have to undergo season
ending wrist surgery. St. Vincent had a strong start in his first week
with the Oilers. He went 2-1-0 with a 2.33 goals against average and
.935 save percentage in his three games last week. South Swing: The Oilers will play Southern Conference opponents Friday
and Saturday, their first games against south teams since December 7^th
