The Central Hockey League has announced Tulsa Oilers equipment manager Steve Enlow will be one of the equipment managers for the 2010 Central Hockey League All-Star game presented by Laredo Energy. The game will be in Laredo, Texas on Wednesday January 13th.
Enlow is in his 17th season with the Oilers. He was the very first recipient of the CHL Equipment Manager of the Year in 2006. In all, 28 of his 30 seasons working in hockey have been in Tulsa. He also worked in the NHL with the Colorado Rockies (now the New Jersey Devils) and in honor of his work for the Oilers, the team named their locker room after him at the BOK Center. The CHL all-stars will take on the South Texas all-stars, comprised of players from the host Laredo Bucks, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, and Corpus Christi IceRays. This is Enlow's second CHL all-star game. He also worked the 1999 CHL all-star game in Oklahoma City.
Enlow will join Colorado Eagles equipment manager Tony Deynzer and Rapid City Rush athletic trainer Osama Kassab on the CHL team support staff. The Oilers play at Wichita on Friday and return home to the BOK Center also against Wichita on Friday January 22nd.
