
Oilers Caig Added To All-Star Team

Tulsa Oilers right wing T.J. Caig has been named to the Central Hockey League all-star team for the Laredo Energy CHL All-Star game in Laredo, Texas on Wednesday January 13th.
The CHL all-stars will take on the South Texas all-stars, comprised of players from the host Laredo Bucks, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, and Corpus Christi IceRays.
Caig, 5-foot-11, 206 pounds from Kelowna, BC leads the CHL with nine power play goals. He is second on the Oilers in scoring with 15 goals and 23 assists for 38 points.
He will replace teammate Rob Hisey, who was the leading vote getter for the CHL starting team. Hisey is currently on call up with the Springfield Falcons fo the American Hockey League, where has scored three goals and one assist for four points in four games. While Caig will be the Oilers' representative on the all-star team, Kevin Ulanski of the Colorado Eagles will fill Hisey's spot in the CHL starting line-up.
Caig and the Oilers will visit the Wichita Thunder this Friday. Their next home game will be Friday January 22nd at 7:35 p.m. at the BOK Center.
