Tulsa Oilers News Release

Turn Back Time: The Tulsa Oilers begin their Turn Back the Clock weekend tonight, hosting the Colorado Eagles. The Oilers are wearing special retro jerseys to honor former goaltender Nelson "Freckles" Little. Little was a goaltender for the Oilers from the 1947-48 season through the 1950-51 season, when the Oilers were members of the United States Hockey League (USHL).

Records: Oilers are 13-16-5 with 31 points in fourth place in the Northeast Division. Colorado is 29-6-0 with 58 points in first place in the Northwest Division.

Recent Action: The Oilers dropped a 3-2 decision to Oklahoma City on Tuesday with David Alexandre Beauregard scoring both goals and Kurtis Dulle picking up two assists. Colorado lost for just the second time at home, losing 3-2 to Laredo Wednesday night. That ended a 19 game home ice winning streak for the Eagles.

Season Series: This is the third of four meetings between these two teams this season. The Eagles have claimed a 3-2 win in Tulsa on November 7th and a 4-1 win in Colorado on November 22nd. This is the Eagles' final regular season visit to Tulsa.

Welcome To T-Town: Tonight is the first game for left winger Jared Dumba as a member of the Oilers. The Oilers acquired him yesterday from the Oklahoma City Blazers in exchange for Jaroslv Cesky. In 32 games with Oklahoma City this season, the 6-foot, 205 pounder had 15 goals and 17 assists for 32 points and 81 penalty minutes.

Helping Out: In just three games since joining the Oilers, defenseman Kurtis Dulle has registered six assists.

Auction, Auction: The Oilers retro jerseys will be auctioned after tomorrow night's game. The live auction will take place immediately following the game. Fans can also bid on Mike Wiggins' and Kurtis Dulle's all-star jerseys on line at www.centralhockeyleague.com

Next Up: Both of these teams play tomorrow night. The Oilers host the Lubbock Cotton Kings at 7:35 p.m. in the first meeting of the season between the two teams. Colorado travels to Wichita for a battle with its divisional rival.
