Edmonton Oil Kings News Release

The Edmonton Oil Kings are teaming up with Operation Friendship Seniors Society to collect socks for their #Socktober campaign, which aims to supply elderly in the Edmonton community with new, warm socks much needed through the winter months.

The Oil King are asking fans to bring new and never worn socks to the game versus the Medicine Hat Tigers this Friday, October 25 to donate to the cause and to help OFSS reach their goal of collecting 10,000 pairs. They've currently collected 8,626 of their goal, so we're hoping this final push will help them cross the finish line!

For those who cannot attend Friday's game, donations will still be accepted at Operation Friendship Seniors Society headquarters, located at 9526 106 Ave, Edmonton during regular business hours.
