Oil Kings Mascot to Ride Grey Cup Zipline Today

Edmonton, AB - Edmonton Oil Kings mascot Louie the Lion will soar through the Edmonton sky today as he goes for a ride on the Grey Cup Huddle Town zipline at Churchill Square. The Oil Kings invite all media to attend this photo opportunity.

Edmonton's downtown core will be known as Huddle Town for the 2010 Grey Cup festival, and one of the features for the event will be the zipline, similar to what many Olympic fans got to experience in Vancouver earlier this year.

WHAT - Louie rides Huddle Town zipline

WHERE - Sir Winston Churchill Square

WHEN - Thursday, Nov. 25 - 1 p.m.

As he makes his journey down the zipline, Louie will be wearing the Oil Kings' Hot To Huddle Grey Cup Growwwl special edition jersey that the team will wear on Friday night when they play the Vancouver Giants at 7 p.m. at Rexall Place. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off that night, with proceeds going to the Oil Kings Education Association.
