
Oil Kings Keep Their Foot on the Pedal

Edmonton, AB - Dylan Wruck had four assists, T.J. Foster had a pair of goals and rookie goaltender Tristan Jarry made 34 saves as the Oil Kings extended their franchise best winning streak to nine with a 5-3 win over the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday night in Edmonton.
Michael St.Croix, Tyler Maxwell and Ryan Dech were the other goal scorers for an Oil Kings offense that once again exploded in the second period with three unanswered goals. At ten games both Wruck and Maxwell are currently tied with the longest active point streaks in the WHL. The Oil Kings power play went 1 for 4 on the night while the WHL's best penalty kill held the Raiders to 1 for 6 with the man advantage.
The Oil Kings will be back in action and looking to extend their streak to double digits on Wednesday night as they take on the Victoria Royals for the first time ever in the City of Champions. This will mark the ninth game in the Oil Kings run of 11 straight games at home. Puck Drop is set for 7PM MST at Rexall Place - all games this season will be broadcast live on the TEAM 1260 and streamed live at WHL.ca
