(EDMONTON, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings have acquired goaltender Beck Warm and prospect Riley Stuart ('02), the Club announced on Wednesday.

In exchange, the Americans receive prospect Cade Littler ('04), prospect Carter Gylander ('01), a 2nd round pick (EDM) in 2021, and a 4th round pick (EDM) in 2022.

Warm, 20, dressed in 135 games as a member of the Americans since first suiting up for the team in the 2014-15 season. He is coming off his best statistical Western Hockey League campaign in 2018-19 when he registered a 32-23-5-0 record with a 2.94 goals against average and 0.916 save percentage.

Over the course of his major junior career he owns a 60-54-9-2 record with a 3.26 goals against average, 0.908 save percentage, four shutouts and more than four thousand saves (4,033).

Near the beginning of this season his guidance and hard work were acknowledged by the Americans as he was named a member of the team's leadership group.

In the lone meeting between Edmonton and Tri-City this season, Warm turned aside all 48 shots he faced to earn a 3-0 shutout victory. Beck is the twin brother of former Oil Kings defenceman, Will Warm.

"We are very excited to have acquired Beck for our group," said Oil Kings President of Hockey Operations and General Manager, Kirt Hill. "Beck is an elite goalie in our League and such a quality individual both on and off the ice.

"The Warm family has been a part of our organization in the past, and we are extremely proud to welcome them back."

Stuart, 17, is currently a member of the Dubuque Fighting Saints (USHL), having skated in 14 games with a plus/minus rating of +3.

The 6-foot-3, 179-pound forward from Phoenix, AZ native tallied 12 goals and 17 assists for 29 points in 29 regular season games for the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes U16 (T1EHL U16) in 2018-19. He was selected in the 5th round, 104th overall by the Americans in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.
