Last time they met: The Blades blasted the ICE 8-3 for their first win against Winnipeg this season on October 25th, 2019. Chase Wouters' notched his first career hat-trick while defencemen Radek Kucerik & Majid Kaddoura each had multi-point nights.
What it means for the Blades: Extending their winning streak from three to four games and besting the newly crowned top ranked team in the East Division.
The stat: 21 - the Blades have allowed 21 goals in four games against the Winnipeg ICE this year. Safe to say, Saskatoon is going to need to decode the ICE's forwards and ensure they're suppressing more shots and protecting their Blades' netminders to the best of their ability against the lively Winnipeg squad.
It's a big night for: Colton Dach - Dach has turned the century in the midst of finding his groove in the Western Hockey League. The 16-year-old rookie has six points in his last eight games, including his first three WHL goals. Now the challenge for young Dach is to keep it going.
Mosaic Family Skate: Bring your skates to the game and hop on the ice with the Blades post-game. Fans will have the opportunity to have players sign items, take photos or just chat with all players from the team.
Happy New Year: We've got your NYE hangover hair of the dog covered with Caesars on special for $6.50 all game long.
Winning Wednesday: Buy 1 ticket and receive a 2nd for just $2. Then if the Blades win, everyone at the game will receive a free ticket voucher on their way out for the next Blades home game. Buy a raffle ticket for the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Jersey raffle and you will also have a chance to win a game worn jersey from that very night from the player of your choice.
