The Salem Red Sox have activated OF Forrestt Allday from the disabled list. There is no corresponding move at this time as the Red Sox had an open spot on the 25-man roster.
Allday was placed on the disabled list on May 9 and has missed the last 27 games with an injured ankle. In 16 games prior to his injury, he was batting .357 with a .517 OBP, five doubles, a home run and six RBI. His 14 walks rank third on the team, trailing only Jordan Betts (15 BB in 42 games) and Sam Travis (18 BB in 49 games).
The Red Sox roster sits at the league maximum of 25 players with three on the disabled list.
