LAST TIME OUT: BRADLEY ZIMMER hit his league-leading ninth home run of the year, but Lynchburg's offense struggled in both ends of a doubleheader, only managing one run on seven hits in the two games combined...The Hillcats fell to Frederick, 3-1 and 3-0 at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium Tuesday...Frederick swept a home doubleheader against the Hillcats for the second time this year, as they also accomplished the feat on April 15...In the first game of the double dip, all four runs came courtesy of home runs...Frederick used back-to-back homers in the first to build a 3-0 lead...TUCKER NATHANS hit a two-run homer to right field to drive in JOSH HART, and TREY MANCINI followed with his eighth home run of the year to give Frederick a 3-0 cushion before the first out...In the top of the fourth, ZIMMER began the frame with a solo home run on a line drive to right field to cut it to 3-1, but LHP MITCH HORACEK continued his dominance of the Lynchburg Hillcats as the southpaw limited the Hillcats to one run and only three hits while striking out five in five innings to improve to 4-0 against Lynchburg...In the second game, Lynchburg's offense only mustered two hits, one of which was a bunt single by CLINT FRAZIER...Frederick didn't break through until the third inning when JOHNNY RUETTIGER singled and eventually scored on a wild pitch...JEFF KEMP walked and came home on an RBI double by MANCINI to give the Keys a 2-0 margin. Frederick added its final run in the fifth when T.J. OLESCZUK singled to open the frame and scored after three consecutive walks issued by MITCH BROWN...ADRIAN MARIN notched the RBI on a bases-loaded walk...

WINSTON-SALEM: Lynchburg and Winston-Salem will meet a total of 16 times in 2015...This series marks the final matchup of the first half...Last season, Lynchburg went 12-8 against the Dash...The Carolina Mudcats (last year's High-A Cleveland Indians affiliate) were 13-7 against Winston in 2014 with a batting average of .282, which was the team's best mark against any opponent last season...In the first series, NELLIE RODRIGUEZ is 4-for-9 with a double, a home run and three of the team's seven RBIs...KEENYN WALKER also went 4-for-9 with two walks, three RBIs and two runs scored...

ZIMMER DOES IT AGAIN: OF BRADLEY ZIMMER went deep to lead off the fourth inning in Tuesday's first game for his ninth home run of the year...All nine of his homers have been solo shots, and five of them have started an inning...ZIMMER leads the league in batting average (.315), home runs (9), runs scored (42) and hit by pitch (7)...He ranks second in on-base percentage (.415), slugging percentage (.522), stolen bases (22) and total bases (96)...

DOUBLE TROUBLE: Doubleheaders have not been the Hillcats friends this season...Lynchburg has played a league-high five twinbills and has a league-worst 3-7 record in those games...The Hillcats have been swept in three doubleheaders this season, including both double dips at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick...Additionally, the Hillcats have been shutout five times this year and four of them have occurred in seven-inning contests, including the second game Tuesday...

BACK, BACK, BACK GOES FRAZIER: OF CLINT FRAZIER had a great month of May, hitting .274 with seven doubles, six home runs, and 24 RBIs to raise his slugging percentage from .299 to .417... FRAZIER did not hit a home run and only had five RBIs in the entire month of April...On Saturday night, he registered the second multi-homer game of his career Saturday night with a solo shot in the first and a three-run blast in the fourth...Named Baseball America's Best Power Hitter in the Indians system, he also had a two-homer performance against the Great Lakes Loons while he was with Lake County on July 11, 2014...FRAZIER is tied with NELLIE RODRIGUEZ for fourth in the league with six homers...They are both chasing BRADLEY ZIMMER'S nine home runs...

VS. LEFTIES: Lynchburg will face a lefty in BRIAN CLARK to begin the second game...The Hillcats had been rolling against lefties until dropping both games of a doubleheader at Frederick against southpaws...Going into the game, Lynchburg was batting .273 with a .397 slugging percentage...However, Lynchburg went 4-for-35 against lefties in the twinbill Tuesday...Lynchburg still has a better average (.263 vs. .238) against lefties, but it now has a worse slugging percentage (.386 vs. .389)...Ironically, the Hillcats two best hitters against southpaws are left-handed...
