SPOKANE, Wash. - The second episode of the 2015-16 Chiefs Insider presented by Northern Quest Resort and Casino on SWX will air Tuesday, October 6 at 10 p.m. The monthly show features an inside look at Chiefs hockey with in-depth interviews and behind-the-scenes insight.
This month's episode features overage players Riley Whittingham and Garret Hughson along with Head Coach Don Nachbaur. SWX also gives an inside look at Equipment Manager Tim Lindblade's work to get the team's gear ready their current six-game road trip. Chiefs Insider also features a quick look at the four Chiefs recently named to the WHL's Top 125 Players of All-Time list, including Ray Whitney, Pat Falloon, Trevor Kidd and Tyler Johnson.
SWX, the sister station to KHQ-6 NBC, is available in HD on Comcast channel 306 and over-the-air channel 6.2.
The Chiefs return home for just their second home game of the season on Friday, Oct. 16 against the Prince Albert Raiders on Cenex Zip Trip Magnet Schedule Giveaway Night. The Chiefs will then host the Kamloops Blazers on Saturday, Oct. 17 as it will be Leinenkugel's HOCKtoberfest & Leavenworth Weekend Giveaway Night. HOCKtoberfest festivities begin outside Spokane Arena at 4 p.m. and fans can enter to win the weekend trip on the Chiefs website at www.spokanechiefs.com.
